Linocut May 2026

Course Date(s): May 4th, 6:00 – 8:00  PM.

Location: Spinnaker Building, Marina Park, Comox Valley Municipal Marina, 127 Port Augusta St, Comox.

Join us at the Comox Valley Marina, in the Spinnaker Building, on Monday, May 4th, at 6:00 pm for an evening of crafting, carving, and chatting with creative people! If you’ve always wanted to try linocut, this workshop is for you! If you’re already familiar with linocut but don’t have all the supplies, this workshop is for you, too!

If you’re interested but have no idea what linocut carving is, it’s like making your own stamp: you use carving tools to carve a rubber block, roll ink onto it, and press it onto paper to transfer the ink from the block to the paper. It’s a fun, satisfying activity that is super accessible for absolute beginners. I’ll be there to help guide you on safe tool use, carving strategy, which tools to use, and how to roll on ink and print your design!

All supplies included.

If you have any questions about the workshop or future workshops, don’t hesitate to contact me directly at nevans665@gmail.com or call 250 201 8646.
